Economic Cohorts® is a breakthrough household segmentation system that leverages our unique and proprietary household economic information to segment households by what matters most – a 360° view of households’ likely economics, including a more accurate and complete picture of total
income, total discretionary spending, and credit capacity and usage.

The Economic Cohorts clusters are defined using a combination of the following household characteristics:

  • Economic capacity
  • Demographics / age
  • Credit data
  • Geographic information / urbanicity

Once clusters are defined, additional descriptive data is added to each cluster with consumer and media behaviors and preferences and attitudes and lifestyle information.
